On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, Waukee Betterment Foundation awarded Waukee Community Schools Foundation with $2,200 to assist with essential supplies for children of low-income families. These funds will support the purchase of backpacks, fleece hoodies and winter gear to ensure all kids in our school system are equipped for the changing seasons.
This donation and others like it are made possible through the generous support of our Endowment Fund donors. Donating to the Waukee Betterment Foundation Endowment, hosted by the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines, allows the community to give in a way that provides long-term support for organizations and projects across Waukee and Dallas County.
